NABUTAKA GITA KUTYA MUKAMA NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL LIMITED
Work hard for Success
The Space Constraint:
Our current land limitations restrict us from building the additional
classrooms we desperately need. Imagine a sea of eager faces crammed
into rooms designed for a fraction of the students. This overcrowding
hinders focused learning and creates an overwhelming atmosphere.
Limited number of teachers
We are fortunate to have a dedicated teaching staff, but their numbers
fall short of the Ministry's recommended ratio. This translates to
less individual attention for each student, which can hamper their
academic progress.
Lack of standard dormitories and staff quarters
Our dormitories, once a place of rest and study, are in dire need of
renovation and extension. These structures, crucial for our boarding
students, lack the basic amenities required for a healthy and
comfortable living space. Additionally, the school lacks staff
quarters to accommodate all teachers who come from afar, hence it
incurs more costs for renting and transport allowances.
No school Library
A well-stocked library is a gateway to endless possibilities.
Currently, our students have limited access to a diverse range of
books, hindering their ability to explore new worlds and broaden their
horizons. Similarly, the lack of a proper staff room makes
collaboration and lesson planning difficult for our teachers.
Meals
Food insecurity is a constant worry. Providing our students with
adequate and nutritious meals is paramount to their well-being and
ability to focus on their studies. Unfortunately, limited resources
often force us to make difficult choices regarding portion sizes and
meal variety.
